1.4 - Possession

Possession can be defined by the following:

  • On an individual's person;

  • Within a vehicle operated or owned by an individual;

  • Within a property resided in or owned by an individual.

If the operator of the vehicle cannot be identified, the registered owner is liable.

Alleged breaches of contract should be brought before a court for review. A courts officer may then impose penalties on the party at fault.
