6.7 Valuing Your Life & Fear RP
You should treat your character’s life as if it were real life and there are no revives or respawns.
Putting yourself in the line of danger or injury without a reasonable justification for risking your life or the life of another is considered both NVL and Fail RP.
If both parties already have a weapon drawn when a hostile scenario begins, it is not NVL and can proceed.
If a player has a gun or weapon pointed at them, they should prioritize their safety and life and comply with all reasonable demands.
Even if a player has a weapon, is an LEO, or is particularly skilled in combat, they must value their life. Even if their weapon is drawn, they must value their life if they are outnumbered, even by one person.
Valuing your life also means fearing for it if you are injured, bleeding out, being held hostage, surrounded by angry locals, have been threatened etc.
Players must also fear for and value their life in the event they are in an area known for dangerous wild animals, near a cougar, etc.
Fearing for your life does not mean that a player you are holding hostage is obligated to scream, cry, or beg for their life when taken hostage, held at gunpoint etc. if they do not feel that this is what their character would do.
This is a really weird thing to demand of another player. Don’t be weird.
