6.6 Restricted Roleplay Topics

Eclipse City encourages players to explore new topics and step out of their comfort zone – however, we also need to keep the well-being of our community in mind, so some topics are restricted or not allowed, even in the event where both parties are OOC consenting.

Erotic Roleplay (ERP)

  1. All ERP must take place away from other players. It cannot be in public.

  2. ERP is defined as anything beyond kissing or fully-clothed, non-sexual cuddling/hugging between two consenting adult characters for the purpose of sexual titillation.

  3. All ERP must be consensual between the characters. No exceptions.

Non Consensual Secual Activity

  1. This includes jokes referring to damaging/mutilating sexual parts or reproductive organs of any time, mutilating genitalia, flashing other players etc. This also extends to threats of sexual violence, continuation of sexual advances when a player has said ‘no,’ etc.

  2. Even if the other player consents OOC, these topics are prohibited.

Racism and Racially Motivated RP

  1. Discussion of disliking, distrusting, or hating a group based on race or cultural identity is forbidden.

  2. As we apparently need to specify, this also includes groups such as Italians, the Irish, and Jewish people.

Suicide RP is Forbidden

This extends to threats of suicide.
