7.7 NLR & Downed Players

1. New Life Rule, or NLR, means that each time you are downed without revival and ‘die,’ you start a new ‘life’ with a blank slate.

   1. Eclipse City operates on a partial NLR system where players who are downed and respawn only have partial memory loss that concerns the events that led to them becoming downed.

2. Players who are downed and choose to respawn will have no memory of the 30 minutes leading up to being downed on waking back up.

3. Revenge RP is not permitted if you have chosen to respawn.

   1. Engaging in hostile RP within 30 min after choosing to respawn with the same person/group that killed you is considered revenge RP.

   2. Engaging in hostile RP with a person you have killed within 30 minutes of them respawning is considered revenge RP.

4. If you are revived by a Doctor/EMS or in the hospital by another player (ie. taken to ‘Pillbox’) you are able to remember the events leading up to you being downed. However, revenge RP rules still apply, and you must RP out all injuries as per usual.

5. Ocean Dumping is not permitted. This is defined as placing a downed player’s body in the water so that they cannot be retrieved.

   1. Downed player’s bodies can be moved. However, they must be left in places that are accessible to EMS, law enforcement, other players etc.
