7.1 Initiation, RDM and VDM

  1. Prohibition of Random Deathmatch (RDM) Attacking, shooting at, or otherwise becoming violent against other players without proper initiation is strictly prohibited. This includes robbing, kidnapping, or any form of unprovoked aggression. Players must always have a valid in-character reason to engage another player in conflict.

  2. Proper Initiation Required All physical conflict or violent actions must follow proper initiation. This ensures fairness and maintains roleplay quality. Failure to follow proper initiation may result in IC and OOC consequences.

  3. Initiation Criteria Initiation must meet the following standards:

    • Both parties are aware or have an opportunity to react.

    • Actions are justified in-character.

    • Scenarios are reasonable, realistic, and follow server rules.

    • Hostile actions do not target bystanders or unrelated players.

  4. RDM Rules Apply to All Characters Random Deathmatch rules apply to all characters, including gang members, and civilians. No player is exempt.

  5. Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM) Prohibition Using a vehicle to kill, injure, or intentionally harm another player without proper roleplay or initiation is prohibited. This includes ramming, running over, or using vehicles in aggressive ways outside IC justification.

  6. No Hostility Before Server Restarts Hostile actions may not be initiated within 30 minutes prior to scheduled server restarts or storms. This prevents unfair scenarios where players cannot properly respond or resolve conflicts.

  7. Green Zone Restrictions Players may not initiate hostile activity within designated green zones, including safe areas, parks, or other protected IC locations.

  8. Police Department Restrictions No hostile actions may occur within or immediately around Police Department buildings unless prior staff approval is obtained. This ensures realistic law enforcement operations and prevents abuse of safe areas.

  9. Gang Colors Are Not Justification Seeing a player wearing the same color as your gang is not sufficient reason to initiate hostility. Players cannot claim colors as a reason for attacks or violence.

  10. Cop Baiting is Prohibited Deliberately provoking, taunting, or attempting to lure police officers into actions for personal gain or to force arrests is strictly forbidden. IC and OOC consequences may apply if caught cop-baiting.
