7.3 PVP Robberies

  1. Players are allowed to rob other players granted that all rules regarding initiation are followed.

  2. Civilians and law enforcement can be robbed.

    • EMS cannot be robbed.

    • You cannot rob an LEO unless there are at least four cops on duty. (See cop robbing rules below.)

  3. If a player reasonably complies with your demands, you cannot kill them.

  4. Demands must be reasonable.

    • You cannot ask a player for everything they own, their property, etc.

    • You can only rob players of what is in their pockets or in their vehicle. You cannot ask a person to withdraw items or money from their bank account, storage, etc.

    • If someone leaves their car unlocked or you can gain access via lock picking etc, the contents inside it are fair game and you can take things from inside it. (This must be done by the same person searching their person as per our anti-pocket wiping rules.)

      • This includes the vehicle itself if it is a civilian vehicle.

  5. You can rob a player once they’re downed.

    • If you feel they are not valuing their life, please raise a ticket.

  6. You are not allowed to camp outside of peds/NPCs with ‘menus’ to wait for victims. Ie. Black market peds, job peds, etc.

    • You are not permitted to rob, attack or become hostile with any player while they are in any kind of menu.

  7. ‘Pocket wiping’ players is not permitted. This means that you cannot take everything from a player’s person when robbing them.

    • You cannot steal a player’s cellphone. You can, however, take it off their person and place it on the ground nearby to stop them from using it to call for help immediately.

    • Please remember to consider the RP of the person you’re robbing.

  8. During a scene where someone is being robbed, only one member of the party doing the robbing can carry items stolen from the robbery, and they can only take what they can carry. You may redistribute the stolen goods amongst your group, but it must be after the active scene is concluded.

  9. Once a player has been robbed, you must not attempt to rob them or approach them for any additional hostile action for 30 minutes.

  10. Once you have robbed a character you must wait 10 minutes before robbing another.

  11. You cannot camp drug spots, warehouses, sell spots, black market NPCs etc to wait for people to rob.

Robbing Cops

  1. Cops can be robbed under the correct circumstances.

  2. You cannot rob an LEO unless there are at least four cops on duty.

  3. You must set out with the intention to rob a cop before setting out to do so. This means you cannot rob a cop based entirely on opportunity, and it must be your intent at the beginning of the scenario.

  4. If you are able to successfully rob a cop, you are able to take their radio (but not their phone.)

    1. We define ‘successfully’ in this case as ‘having been able to successfully take everything else you intended to take from their inventory’ without being interrupted.

  5. You cannot down or kill a cop during a robbery if they are being compliant.

    1. If you feel they are not valuing their life, please raise a ticket.

  6. If their car has been left unlocked or you are able to gain access, you are able to search it and take things from the car as well (this must be done by the same person searching their person as per our anti-pocket wiping rules.)

  7. If their car has been left unlocked or you are able to gain access, you are permitted to steal their car in order to do something with it such as hide it, move it away from them, damage it etc.

    1. Your intent cannot be to use their car as a getaway vehicle and you must have a goal of what you’re going to do with it. You are expected to attempt to go directly to that goal and not extend into a usual car chase if you are pursued by police on your way there. You must continue to your intended destination and not try to lose the cops beforehand.

    2. If you are unable to reach the intended destination in a reasonably direct manner, you are expected to exit the vehicle. Should you be picked up by a friend (keeping group size rules in mind,) swap to another vehicle nearby, or try to escape on foot is up to you. Stealing a cop car is a huge risk and this is part of it.

    3. You cannot aimlessly joyride in a stolen police vehicle.

    4. You cannot use a stolen police vehicle in a race - be serious now.
