7.4 PvE Robberies, Heists, Vehicle Getaways, and Chases
No chain heists. While most heists and PvE robberies are on a cool down timer, you must wait 20 minutes between any PvE robberies that do not have a built-in cool down timer.
We ask that players committing larger heists such as banks limit themselves to one per restart if they have been successful.
If you attempt to initiate a larger heist and are unable to properly begin due to a technical issue, police being predisposed at another incident, a hostage disconnecting etc, you may attempt again.
We define ‘properly beginning’ as receiving a police response and beginning hostage negotiations. Sometimes police may respond and explain that they are predisposed at another scene and give you the option of free passage - this entirely up to their discretion and is not a permitted reason to become hostile towards the LEO that responds to you in this case.
Each PvE robbery and heist must be done with the intent of carrying out that robbery/Heist.
‘Fake robberies’ to lure cops to a scene to rob them, begin violent conflict with them etc are not permitted.
There are no limits on vehicle swaps during getaways and chases. However, law enforcement may increase aggression per car swap based on IC regulations and their SOPs.
Cops cannot impound or move a vehicle unless they have genuine and reasonable IC belief or proof that it will be used for a swap.
Making an ‘educated guess’ or having OOC knowledge are not acceptable reasons.
If you use a water vehicle (jet-ski, boat, etc) to during a chase or getaway, you must have intent to reach some kind of destination on land. You cannot simply be stationary in the water, go around in circles to avoid cops etc.
Swapping or the use of a water vehicle must be part of your already established getaway plan.
In the event where the water vehicle you planned to swap to or use is not there (it has de-spawned, is being used by someone unrelated, is damaged beyond use when you arrive, has not spawned etc) you are permitted to try and find an alternative one if you wish to do so.
While this is not required, we recommend that players about to commence a crime that will involve a getaway chase have a brief meeting beforehand where they briefly summarize getaway plans including any intent to vehicle swap, use water vehicles etc and clip this statement in order to cover all your bases in the event intent comes in to question.
While this is by no means required and we will always thoroughly investigate all issues as they arise, players may wish to do this for their own peace of mind and to keep any investigations short.
