4.2 Staff Sits
1. Ticket-Based Staff Sits When staff need to speak with a player, they will create a staff sit in Discord and add the player to it. All staff sits are handled through this system.
2. Timely Responses Expected Players must respond to staff tickets within a reasonable timeframe once they have finished their current roleplay scenario.
3. How to Pause RP to Attend a Ticket After completing your RP situation, you should either move to a quiet area and idle or F8 quit to address the staff sit. Staff need your full attention during a sit.
4. Red Screen Warnings & Kicks If staff determine you are not in an active scenario or have failed to respond after a reasonable amount of time, you may receive an on-screen red warning. Continued lack of response may result in a kick from the server.
5. Temporary Bans for Excessive Delay If a player takes an unreasonable amount of time to respond to a staff sit, staff may issue a temporary ban until the player attends the sit.
6. Avoiding Staff Sits is a Violation Avoiding or ignoring a staff sit will result in disciplinary action. If you cannot respond immediately due to real-life obligations, you must acknowledge the ticket and inform staff when you will return.
7. Penalties for Deliberate Avoidance Intentionally avoiding a staff sit can result in disciplinary action ranging from a 24-hour ban to a permanent ban, depending on severity and context.
8. Ticket Handling & Escalation The staff members assigned to your ticket are the ones who will handle it. Tickets cannot be escalated to server owners, developers, or higher staff unless the case involves staff misconduct. In that situation, create a separate ticket.
9. Respect for Staff During Sits Eclipse City staff are screened, trained, and trusted to make decisions. All staff rulings are final. Players are encouraged to share their perspective during sits, but attempts to undermine staff based on their gender, staff rank, or similar factors will not be tolerated.
