4.2 - Unlawful Entry

A person must not enter private property without a lawful reason, or to unnecessarily cause significant public disturbance.

Government agents may enter private property in the following circumstances:

  • (1) When an individual who has committed or is wanted for a jailable offence is on the property.

  • (2) If a pursuit has led government agents to a property they may enter that property to apprehend the suspect.

  • (3) A warrant permits government agents to enter.

  • (4) An individual required for a warrant execution is on private property and their location is indicated via a phone track.

  • (5) If gunfire is audible from within the property.

Breaches to be investigated by Business Executives and submitted to Board of Directors for review. For serious or repeat offenders, a senate officer may decide to impose any penalty deemed appropriate, including demotion, dismissal and jail
