4.15 - Unlawful Phone Tracking
Police triangulating phone traces may be used in the following circumstance:
If approval has been received from a Supervisor +. That approval may only be given if an individual is wanted in relation to a jailable offence.
Police satellite phone traces may be used in the following circumstances:
If approval has been received from a Supervisor +. That approval may only be given if an individual has more than $200,000 of outstanding fines
A warrant has been approved by a Judge.
The individual is wanted in relation to a search warrant and approval has been provided by a RAPTOR Supervisor +.
The individual is a government agent.
