4.16 - Authority to Move Along
A government agent must not direct a civilian to move along without satisfying one of the following reasons:
The civilian is obstructing another person or traffic.
The civilian is harassing or intimidating others.
The civilian is a threat or is likely to be a threat to others.
The government agent must indicate the duration the civilian must leave the specified area with a maximum duration of 2 hours.
Civilians failing to comply with a direction to move along are subject to the penalties outlined in G5 - Failure to follow a lawful order.
