2.2 Discrimination
1. Zero-Tolerance Policy Any form of discrimination or harassment is strictly prohibited. This includes behavior directed at another player based on their race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or any other protected characteristic.
2. In-Character vs Out-of-Character • Discriminatory language or behavior is not allowed either in-character or out-of-character. • “It’s just RP” is not an excuse. If the content is discriminatory, it is not permitted.
3. Slurs and Derogatory Language Use of slurs, hate speech, or derogatory stereotypes is forbidden at all times.
4. Targeted Harassment Harassing, threatening, or repeatedly targeting a player or group with discriminatory remarks or behavior is not allowed under any circumstance.
5. Hate Symbols and Imagery Displaying, creating, or using hate symbols, extremist imagery, or discriminatory iconography in clothing, vehicles, graffiti, or any RP scenario is not permitted.
6. Discriminatory Roleplay Scenarios Storylines or characters built around racism, bigotry, extremist ideology, or hate-based groups are prohibited. Roleplay involving systemic themes (policing, politics, etc.) must be conducted without discrimination toward real-world protected groups.
7. Voice, Text, and Third-Party Platforms The rule applies everywhere connected to Eclipse City: • In-game voice • In-game text • Discord • Any official server events or communications
8. Reporting & Evidence Players who experience or witness discriminatory behavior should report it immediately with clips, logs, or screenshots. Staff will review all available evidence.
9. Enforcement & Penalties Penalties may include warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans depending on severity, repetition, and intent. Severe discrimination or hate speech will result in immediate removal.
10. Responsibility to Maintain a Safe Community All players must help maintain a respectful environment. Encouraging discrimination, laughing along with it, or failing to follow staff instructions regarding these rules may result in disciplinary action.
