9.4 - Powers of Paramedics

Officers of the Eclipse City Ambulance Service (Paramedics) are tasked to provide medical help to maintain life and reduce injuries in an emergency.

A paramedic may exercise the following powers:

• Power to require identification

• Power to detain violent, uncooperative or unruly individuals

• Power to enter a property to provide medical or fire services
